Anne Celeste Heche, an American actor best recognized for her roles in films and television in a variety of categories. Mr. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role but that she turned the offer down. Anne says she does not recall being contacted or offered the part by John Carpenter. Agents could have rejected the role for her, but with no knowledge. Glen Larson initially selected her for the role of Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He sent a rough script. She originally rejected the position as she believed the character was weak. In the future, Glen made a different part specifically for her, with the character that was stronger, Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted after she read the first 25-page script. The show lasted only one season. The show also featured her with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. In addition, she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
