Aura Sanchez Garrido is an actress on Spanish films and television. She has appeared as an actress in Stockholm as well as the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is the daughter of Madrid born native of 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer. Her mother, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. When she took her first piano lessons when she was four years old She began to study ballet. She had a best friend who spoke English who taught her the English language. After she had completed her high school studies, she joined at the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico. She was studying the interpretation of texts and interpretive techniques in the third year of her studies. The role won her a Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category as well as an award for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
