In the latter half of 2010 her roles as the lead actor in Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (and Bizaardvark) was well-known. Interscope Records released Rodrigo's first single, "Drivers License", in 2020. Geffen also released it. It broke records and was one of the songs that sold the most in 2021. This song was a major hit and helped to make her a household name. The track was then followed by "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her debut solo album of her own, Sour (2021), that garnered critical and commercial successes and was awarded several awards including three Grammy Awards. Pop Smoke's second studio album, Faith was released by Republic Records one year later. Time named her one of the 2021 Entertainers of The Year.
